Becky Criscione Hall of Fame Member

A dominant master runner, Becky Criscione was two time Chicago Area Runners Association Senior Master Runner of the year. She was virtually unbeatable in her age group in local races. Becky seemed to gain strength as the distance of the race increased, making her extremely dominant in longer distance races.

A sampling of her races from 1995 at age 54 included the following- 5k 21:08, 10K-44:07, half marathon 1:36, 25K 1:57-a national age group record, and 3:30 at the Chicago Marathon, a 16 minute age group victory!

A group of Prairie State Road Runners were training for the Chicago Marathon many years ago. It was then that Becky began the tradition of our Sunday morning "Breakfast Club" running on the towpath in Channahon followed by Breakfast at a local restaurant.

Becky developed some health issues which she dealt with successfully and she has continued to run over the years. She now lives in Florida but comes up to Illinois to visit her family frequently.
